Sofia Sarri will sing accompanied by the quartet consisting of: Katerina Tepelena (violin), Petros Lampridis (double bass), Giorgos Kontogiannis (Cretan lyre) and Kostas Stergiou (piano), on Sunday, October 13. 

Singer/songwriter and performer from Chania, Sofia Sarri works in different musical genres, lending her voice to jazz projects, metal bands, songwriters of the domestic scene (Th. Papakostaninou, N. Portokaloglou, F. Delivorias), polyphonic choirs, soundtracks, etc. In her first solo record "Euphoria" (Inner Ear, 2017) she mixes the Cretan lyre with analog synths and beats. In 2019 she co-created the concept album "Afterlife Romance" (Dark Essence Records, 2019) together with the Romanian artist and musician Costin Chioreanu, which in collaboration with the musician and visual artist Adrian Tabacaru, also was released as a Virtual Reality edition with the title "Midnight Cemetery".

The three of them starts the band Arac, tour Europe, and release their self-titled debut in Athens and Bucharest in 2022. She lends her voice to the soundtrack of the Dutch series "Ik Weet Wie Je Bent" and the Greek series "Save Me" with music by Stavros Marconis. Sarri also collaborates with Australian electronic music composer Ben Frost for the soundtrack of the popular Netflix series “1899”.

In the summer of 2022 the audiovisual project "ARIADNE" was released in collaboration with the visual artist and computer scientist, Aias Kokkalis. ARIADNE is a precursor to the second solo record that will be released soon.

A member of the Celtic quartet Noriana and the Lagom string quartet, Katerina Tepelena has been teaching violin since 2010 in Conservatories and Private Schools of Attica. She has collaborated with musical orchestral ensembles and Greek singers on live performances and recordings.

A graduate of the department of Folk and Traditional Music, where he mainly dealt with ethnomusicology as well as the sound and the theory of Eastern music, Petros Lampridis has participated in many musical projects of different nature, among them the Onions, Matt in 2 Recessions, Night On Earth, Belleville, both on record and live.

Giorgos Kontogiannis, a student of Ross Daly, teaches the lyre himself and is a founding member of the band Matt in 2 Recessions with which he has released 4 albums since 2002. He is part of Haig Yazdjian's band and is a member of Polis Ensemble and Southern Bow. He has played together with important artists of the field, on concerts and discography, such as Nikos Grapsas, Nikos Xydakis, Eleni Karaindrou, Vassilis Skoulas, Ludovikos of Anogion, etc.

Kostas Stergiou has participated in bands of the independent scene, like Misuse, Gravitysays_i, Purple Overdose, Dustbowl etc., he has played as a session musician with Isvoleas, Sotiria Leonardou, Leonidas Balafa, Eleni Dimou etc., and has produced, orchestrated and done the sound engineering for Sofia Sarri, Themo Skandami, Patrick Campbell Lyons, Involea, Babak Ahteshamipur and others. He has also composed music for plays and films.
